Year 5 Camp update

Dear Parents / Guardians,
In consequence of today’s renewed flood alert, I have been in urgent contact this morning with a range of relevant agencies, and with Macquarie Educational Tours, to seek advice on the advisability, or otherwise, of Arndell Anglican College Junior School continuing safely with the Year 5 Excursion to Hill End, as set for Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th March..
The consensus is shaping that whilst there can be no absolute guarantee of conditions substantially improving for Monday, there is some good likelihood of this occurring.
In this context of information available, the School Executive has therefore decided, at present, to continue with the Year 5 Hill End Excursion.
This informed expectation will be confirmed on the afternoon of Sunday 11th March, when a much securer quality of advice should be available to the College.
A final confirmation of arrangements will then be posted on the Arndell Anglican College Website, and you are kindly asked to keep close reference of this.
